Experience the land of the midnight sun. JAMK University is located in beautiful Jyväskylä, Finland (population 137,000), birthplace of Finland's renowned educational system. JAMK has approximately 8000 students from over 60 countries. The city is home to national parks and lakes, but also restaurants and shops. English is 一个 of three official languages, along with Finnish and Swedish.

Participants may readily explore the surrounding countries or cultures, or they may choose to join any of three optional excursions to Tallinn, Stockholm, and St. 彼得堡.

It's an amazing opportunity to learn in an international setting for not much more than you would spend to stay in San José for the summer.

COMM majors may apply these units toward their Foundations, Inquiry and Practice requirements.

COMM course substitutions can be arranged.

Competitive grants and scholarships are available to help defray costs. 金融 aid is available for students who take six or more units during the summer.

If you're not a COMM major, consult with your advisor for how you might be able to apply this experience to your program of study.
